Plata Mountain (5968mts) Plata Mountain (5968mts)

Your first 6000!

-

Plata Mountain, a necessary step before Aconcagua.

Located in the Cordón del Plata, Central Andes, Cerro Plata is an icon of the place. The ascent to this hill is an almost obligatory step for many mountaineers who visit this mountain range and want to get started in high altitude mountaineering. It is the highest peak in that place. Conquering its summit will allow us to have a panoramic view of Cerro Aconcagua, Cordón de la Jaula, Vn Tupungato and the other 6000 located entirely in the province of Mendoza: the C° Negro Pabellon.
We invite you to participate in a unique experience, in which all services are included so that you only have to worry about your adaptation process to the altitude.

6-days shortened version: Vallecitos Mt. Expedition (5450m).
If you do not have mountaineering experience: 2x4000: Adolfo Calle Mt. + Stepanek.

Our experience with Silvina at Andes Extreme Adventures was spectacular. From the very beginning - even before the expedition started — we could see Silvina’s dedication and professionalism; she made sure we had the right gear and offered advice on renting any specific technical equipment we might need.
Throughout the journey, she was constantly attentive to our well-being, comfort, and overall enjoyment!
We learned so much about the mountains, how to conduct ourselves in that environment, and the necessary safety precautions.
Silvina was flexible, adjusting the planned itinerary whenever needed to ensure we reached our final goal—and we did!
She’s also a fantastic cook who made sure we had everything we needed. It was a journey full of learning, adaptation, and a wonderful mountain atmosphere!
Thank you for these fantastic days.
